It’s always great when it’s your birthday (age aside) - but I’ve been compiling a list of treats to make birthdays even better! There are lots of places who will give you a freebie when it’s your special day so bookmark this post and be sure to refer back to it ahead of your next Birthday. And don’t forget to share it with anyone who’s Birthday is coming up:
Slim Chickens - head to their website to get their rewards app and pick up your Birthday Treat. I found it to be free tenders but right now they’re advertising a jar dessert.
Bathampton Mill - sign up to their newsletter to get a free starter or dessert, PLUS a free bottle of bubbles on your Birthday! And we don’t think they mean the type you blow with a wand…
Lindt - join the Lindt member programme and get a voucher for a sweet treat on your birthday, which I hear can be a box of chocolates.
Krispy Kreme - get yourself a free doughnut (I believe) or at least some kind of birthday treat when you join the Krispy Kreme Rewards programme.
Pizza Express - join their Club and get a free dessert on your birthday, or once you’ve proved your loyalty by collecting more stamps, get a free pizza.
Hotel Chocolat - join their VIP.Me reward scheme for a “birthday treat” which I’m reliably informed is a £5 voucher and 25% off drinks in store.
TGI Fridays - these guys will give you a whopping treat of a free cocktail for you and up to 5 of your mates on your Birthday!
Burger King - claim a free Whopper burger or plant based Whopper, but make sure you read the terms and register for their app at least 7 days prior to your Birthday.
All Bar One - download their loyalty app and get a treat on your Birthday, which I think is a free cocktail.
Boost Juice - join their VIBE loyalty scheme and get a free Birthday Boost Juice or smoothie on your special day, or up to 2 days before.
Starbucks - get a voucher on your birthday for a free drink which needs to be redeemed within 30 days - which is fab because you don’t need to accept the drink on your actual birthday if you’re too full of other freebie cocktails. HOWEVER, this offer does only seem to be valid if you’re a Gold member, which means you’ve earned 2500 points in the last 12 months on your loyalty card with the coffee chain.
Zizzi - join the Zillionaires club and get a free main meal when you buy another main meal on your Birthday.
Kaspas - get a free medium milkshake on your birthday when you prove your date of birth with ID… but Kaspas are a franchise so you might want to check that your local branch participates in this offer. Some offer a free slice of cake too.
Brewhouse & Kitchen - you get a free half a pint for signing up to their mailing list, but we’ve heard their birthday treat is another free beer too - just make sure you sign up 3 weeks before your birthday.
Lidl - get a free doughnut within 7 days of your birthday with a coupon you get via your Lidl Plus account.
Greggs - get their app to get a free sweet treat each year on your birthday.
Frankie & Benny’s - get a free main meal when you order 2 other meals from their brunch or core menus. It’s the cheapest meal that’ll be free.
Brewers Fayre - get a free main meal on your birthday when you sign up to their Bonus Club.
Bella Italia - get a free main meal on your birthday, but make sure you’ve signed up to their newsletter at least a week before your Birthday.
West of England - get a free bus pass for free unlimited travel throughout the month of your Birthday! If you’re under 21 they double it to 2 months for free!
Neuhaus - get a free birthday treat which you need to pick up from a Neuhaus shop within the month of your birthday when you become a Neuhaus Insider. Not available at airports.
