PRIVACY POLICY
Activibees.com is (genuinely) committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. The purpose of this statement is to explain to you what personal information we collect and how we may use it.
The type of personal information we collect
Currently, the only personal information we collect is your email address and, if you give it to us, your name - and we only collect that when you knowingly give it to us by typing it into the Website to register for an account or registering to buy charity event tickets.
Creaters, brands and holiday home operators who complete a Profile may supply more information for their profile, but always by typing it into the Website yourselves.
We will also know what listings or profiles you bookmark / follow / view so that we may (in the future) suggest other listings we think you might like based on your past activity.
Buying charity event tickets
When you buy charity event tickets, we will pass them your name, contact information and any additional relevant information you enter during the ticket buying process - such as dietary requirements.
Your payment transaction is directly with them - Activibees and it's operators do not receive your money, it goes directly to the charity and any concerns or questions about confirmation of payment, or refunds, should be handled directly with them.
When you buy tickets you will be created an account on Activibees, which will add you to our mailing list. You may contact us to unsusbcribe at any time.
When you buy tickets from a charity, your account will be automatically subscribed to the charity's profile to hear more about their future events. You can unsubscribe from their profile at any time by visiting their profile and clicking to unsubscribe.
Providing personal data to others
When you buy event tickets from a charity, we make your name and email address, along with any other event specific information - such as dietary requirements - which you type into the website during the purchase process available to them so they can handle your order. For details of their privacy policies, please contact them directly.
When you subscribe to a profile on Activibees, we will make your name and email address available to the holder of that profile - sometimes an individual creater, sometimes a brand, and sometimes a holiday home.
We may need to pass your email address to MailChimp who Activibees.com may from time to time use for sending email communications.
Your email address and any other data in our database is stored on servers provided by Amazon Web Services. Data may be transferred to servers located outside the country in which you live.
