Last weekend we had a fabulous day out at Cotswold Farm Park. We visit regularly and were excited to see this year's Easter offering!
Spring on the farm is a brilliant time, with baby animals aplenty! We saw kids, lambs, calves, and foals, to name but a few!
This year the Easter Trail is based on the Julia Donaldson book, 'Gozzle,' with books on sale in the farm shop. There were also lots of Easter activities including bonnet making, wooden farm decorating, sand art (£3.95) and 'build a farm animal' (£19.95). It was also fantastic to visit the animal barn to see the live lambing.
We loved visiting the regular spots and seeing the Rare Breed Trail, during which we fed the animals (the goats are particularly greedy!). We loved seeing the smaller animals and interacting with baby chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs in the animal barns too.
With lots of places to purchase food and drink, and parks to stop and play, this is the ultimate day out! Our kids are particularly taken with the bouncy pillows on the farm.
Joseph's toy dinosaur decided it liked it so much on the farm, that it wanted to stay and live with the baby animals. I tagged Cotswold Farm Park in an Instagram story, asking if anyone had seen the dinosaur, as we really wanted him to come home. They messaged me the following day to say it had been found. Joseph was thrilled to be reunited with it.
