Edford Wood | Somerset Wildlife Trust
Sadly this broadleaved woodland is badly affected by ash die back. This means that the ash trees are not in good health, they and their limbs are prone to failing and falling. We do not recommend visiting this reserve at the current time. The seasonal footpath, normally open in spring, will remain closed this year.
Cockles Fields | Somerset Wildlife Trust
The steeply sloping higher ground to the west supports dry grassland species whereas the low damp east side supports a range of waterside plants. Also look out for evidence of Medieval and Roman opencast mining activities which were carried out here.

We have no bum fights for the best bits of foliage, no hidden charges for decorations and no bending over low tables in a chilly village hall. Our studio is equipt with height adjustable desks, accessible entrance and on-site facilities so no one has to miss out.
