Edford Wood | Somerset Wildlife Trust
Sadly this broadleaved woodland is badly affected by ash die back. This means that the ash trees are not in good health, they and their limbs are prone to failing and falling. We do not recommend visiting this reserve at the current time. The seasonal footpath, normally open in spring, will remain closed this year.

Cockles Fields | Somerset Wildlife Trust
The steeply sloping higher ground to the west supports dry grassland species whereas the low damp east side supports a range of waterside plants. Also look out for evidence of Medieval and Roman opencast mining activities which were carried out here.

Harridge Wood | Somerset Wildlife Trust
Sadly this woodland is badly affected by ash die back. This means that the ash trees are not in good health, they and their limbs are prone to failing and falling. We do not recommend visiting this nature reserve at the current time.

Wooded valley with a beautiful waterfall. Perfect spot for bluebells in Spring, diverse plant species, birds and butterflies.

Hollow Marsh Meadow | Somerset Wildlife Trust

On a warm day it really does throng with life and can be actually quite noisy with the sound of buzzing insects.

Wet meadows and an ox-bow lake, abundant in migrant and water birds, butterflies and dragonflies.
