Whether you're a haunted house aficionado or a Halloween newbie looking to test your bravery, there's something spine-tingling waiting for you this October! We're researching the most bone chilling attractions and events happening across the UK - follow us on Instagram or join our mailing list because we'll keep updating this list as we find new things!

FEAR Scream Park (Bristol, BS31)

The normally warm and cuddly Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park change their tune during October, when they welcome FEAR, their award winning Scream Park. Voted as the UK's best scream park in 2019 and 2022, it opens on the 11th October and runs on select nights until the 2nd November. For 2024 they promise "two zones and five multi-sensory and immersive scare attractions".

You can view their 2023 trailer here:

Warwick Castle (Warwickshire, CV34 6AH)

Alongside their half term family fun activities, Warwick Castle have a Castle After Dark event running on the 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th, and 31st October. This one is on my radar when a friend mentioned the other day that they visited Warwick Castle's Halloween attraction a few years ago - with their 8 year old son - not really knowing what it was about or expecting it to be that scary, and everyone was absolutely terrified! If you want to up your fear levels, you can turn it into an overnight stay in some overnight accommodation (although I don't know that the accommodation is actually scary!).

Thorpe Park Fright Nights (Surrey, KT16 8PN)

If zombies and gore isn't enough for you, and you want to throw some death defying theme park rides into the mix, try a Fright Night at Thorpe Park. Drop 236ft at over 80mph on Hyperia - but this time, do it in the dark. With 4 scare mazes, a cursed village to risk a wander around, an assortment of shows and - new for 2024 - IT: The 4D Experience®, this isn't a night out for the faint of heart!

Psycho Path (Newcastle upon Tyne NE16 6AS)

Voted the UK's top scare park in 2023, Psycho park is set amongst a 700 acre farm in Newcastle upon Tyne. If you want a cardiovascular work out whilst you're chased by terrifying beasts, or you want a truly horrible experience of desperately trying to make your way around a terrifying crawl space, then this is your place to visit up North this year. They've got a 4 minute video here telling you more about the experience plus what you need to know before you go:

If you know of a petrifying Halloween adventure, large or small, and would like us to add it to this page, please tell us about it on Insta or drop us an email.
