Pot Painting for children this half term, at The Ark Cafe, Newent

I am obsessed with every event Paint Pot Parties owner Brydie hosts (from Crafternoon Tea to Pumpkin Painting, Brydie keeps us busy year-round!).

This February half term, Brydie is hosting more fab sessions for kids at The Ark Cafe in Newent.

Plant Pot Painting sessions return on the 20th, with 3 sessions in the day: 9.30am, 10.45am and 12pm. (Each session being around an hour in length. Tickets are on sale via Eventbrite from £10 each. The session at Dunkertons has already sold out!)

We attended this event in August last year at Dunkertons, Cheltenham, and had a fantastic time!

Firstly, we planned our plant pot designs on paper - with Brydie's guidance - and then we painted them onto our plant pots. I stuck to script, but my son Joseph went fully rogue!

Whilst waiting for our plant pots to dry, we grazed Cotswold Style. Joseph's favourite was definitely the ice cream.

Then, having fully caffeinated myself, we returned to fill our plant pots with soil and plant our bulbs (Everything - including the soil and bulbs - is included in the ticket price).

We have just had our bulbs shoot, but you won't have to wait as long for yours! We had such a lovely time, and now have our pots at home, to remember it forever.

Paint Pot Parties is a real family affair, with Brydie, a certified therapeutic art coach, being front of house at the events with her husband Dan working behind the scenes. They're parents to 4 kids age 5 - 10, which you'd think would keep them busy enough, but they manage to run Paint Pot Parties as a side hustle, whilst working full time.

Cotswold Collective members receive 10% off tickets for Paint Pot Parties and you can get £5 off your Cotswold Collective membership using code GABBEY5.
